About Conference

The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Blockchain and Distributed Systems Security (IEEE ICBDS 2026) is scheduled during 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2026 in hybrid mode, organized by IEEE Pune Section and IEEE Computer Society Pune Chapter, Pune, India.

The main objective of this conference is to bring together researchers, academicians, engineers and practitioners with shared interests in blockchain, distributed systems and cybersecurity. The conference provides a platform to identify emerging research topics and present the latest advances in theories, applications, infrastructure and secure systems.

Message from the General Chair

IEEE ICBDS 2026

It gives us immense pleasure to write this message for the 5th International Conference on Blockchain and Distributed Systems Security 2026 (IEEE ICBDS 2026), scheduled during 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2026, organized by IEEE Pune Section and IEEE Computer Society Pune Chapter, Pune, India, and to be held in hybrid mode at MES Mukunddas Lohia College of Engineering.

The main objective of this conference is to bring together and foster information exchange among researchers and practitioners with shared interests in blockchain, distributed systems, and cybersecurity. This conference will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to contribute to identifying emerging research topics and present the latest advances and innovations in theories, applications, infrastructure, and secure systems.

The target audience includes stakeholders from governments, academia, IT and related industry professionals, as well as civil society. The conference aims to foster collaboration for secure, inclusive, and resilient systems for sustainable development through technical discussions, keynote talks, and research presentations.
