Message from General Chair, IEEE ICBDS 2025

It gives us immense pleasure to write this message for the 4th International Conference on Blockchain and Distributed Systems Security 2025 (IEEE ICBDS 2025), scheduled during 30th, 31st October and 1st November 2025, organized by IEEE Pune Computer Society Pune Chapter, IEEE Pune Section, and Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Institute of Engineering and Technology (BSiET), Kolhapur, India.

The main objective of this conference is to bring together and foster information exchange among the researchers and practitioners with shared interests in blockchain, distributed systems, and security towards the theme “Secure and Inclusive Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI)”. This conference will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to contribute to identifying emerging research topics, the latest advances & innovations in theories, applications pertaining to the above mentioned theme. The ideas and solutions being presented in the conference will attract all the stakeholders for designing and implementing their local DPI tailored to their unique area specific needs such as verifying identities to opening bank accounts, ensuring fast and reliable digital payments to enabling safe and efficient data exchange across government services, secure and seamless interactions between people, businesses and governments etc. Hopefully, the DPI related solutions proposed in the conference will accelerate digital transformation and can make everyday life more connected and inclusive.

The target audience includes the stakeholders from governments, academia, IT and related industry professionals, as well as civil society interested in the above theme. By engaging the researchers, the governments, the private sector, and civil society, the conference aims to foster multi-stakeholder collaboration for secure, inclusive, interoperable and resilient DPI for sustainable development of Societies. This includes offering research symposium, technical discussions, key-note addresses, and plenary sessions and presentations creating spaces for dialogue to ensure that each idea presented is designed to be safe, full proof and inclusive.
IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE Pune Section was established on June 26, 2010. The Section falls under the jurisdiction of the Asia Pacific Region (R-10) of IEEE. The Section interfaces with industries and academia through various technical and humanitarian activities. On behalf of the IEEE Pune Section, let us appreciate the organizing team for taking the initiative to organize a conference on this important Theme “Innovation in Engineering, Design, and Holistic Education”. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to members and volunteers of various committees, all the authors and invited speakers and reviewers of IEEE ICBDS 2024.

We are confident that 4th IEEE ICBDS in October 2025 will be immensely valuable for scholars and researchers, and the entire world for building secure digital public infrastructure. We hope that all participants will enjoy their stay at BSiET, Kolhapur and the places at Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Belgaum and Goa. We welcome you all for this memorable experience “IEEE ICBDS 2025”
